This data was
captured in coincidence with the data on the first graph. The full rod
systems tout a narrower change band centered around 42% +/-3

This data shows the
changes inside the piano with Music Sorb.
The graph shows how smooth and small the changes are with this
Chemical control.
Again the MAX-MIN
range tells a more complete story. The
range for the entire year is just about half of the changes in the room
The point to point
(morning – evening) data show even better results with less than a 1% change
in the day.

Humidity control, I
stress CONTROL vs. just heater rods, does buffer and smooth the changes the
piano will undergo. There still is change. Regular tunings are still needed.
The smaller smoother
changes will assist is instrument stability and smaller deviation from the
last tuning related to relative humidity.
Some humidity
control is a good thing.
